Coffee Cowboy
The opportunity to re-brand a business is rewarding, especially when working with exceptional people like owners, Monique and Josh, in a picturesque mountain town.
Telluride’s iconic Coffee Cowboy was once an old horse trailer converted into an outdoor coffee shop. This quaint bistro has been nestled in the heart of downtown for decades. After 7 years of new ownership, Monique and Josh were ready to update the logo design and brand.

RE-BRANDING
The goal of the new brand was to preserve a historic ‘cowboy’ aesthetic while adding a modern twist. The owners had no preconceptions of how they wanted their new logo to look, which allowed for a fun evolution of design ideas.
Branding began with a brainstorm of visual sketches: the friendly buzz of locals socializing with a warm drink in hand, the history of this old western mountain town, and the converted horse trailer that houses the coffee.

LOGO DESIGN
The owners unanimously chose a double ‘C’ horseshoe logo design which enveloped multiple meanings in a concise and sophisticated round display.
The new logo was applied to environmental graphics, displays, merchandise, and digital marketing.

“People are loving the logo! You are so talented and we appreciate your work!”
